Health 365 is a secure website service provided in conjunction with Katikati Medical Centre and your GP to help you be in control of your health care. Health 365 is very useful but is not to be used for anything urgent. Click here for more information.

There is a dedicated duty doctor and nurse available every day to attend to acutely sick children and adults. These appointments are for emergencies only. Please phone Reception or a nurse on 07 5490 411.  In a life threatening emergency it is still best to phone for an ambulance on 111

Your Doctor will discuss with you as to how you will be advised of the results and when they should be available. Most routine tests take 72 hours to be reported back and checked by the Doctor although some, such as biopsies or cervical smears, will take longer.  Please contact a nurse if there is an inappropriately long delay.
Please remember our Reception staff are not qualified to interpret results and are not permitted to give them to patients.

No, when doctors are on the premises they run to an appointment schedule. Please speak to Reception or a nurse who can assist with your enquiry and/or make an appointment for you.

In limited circumstances we are able to see visitors. We DO NOT have a walk in Accident and Emergency clinic, you must phone Reception prior to your arrival on tel 07 5490 411.

Visitors will be asked to pay in advance.

For urgent care please go to Tauranga Public Hospital or contact 2nd Ave Health Centre (Tel 07 577 0010) in Tauranga who are open 7 days.

A Driver’s Licence Medical is a 30 minute appointment consisting of 15 minutes with a nurse followed by 15 minutes with your doctor. The appointment MUST be with your usual doctor. Please advise Reception when making the appointment that it is for a Driver’s Licence Medical. The cost is $70.

In the majority of cases an appointment with your GP will be required.

A phone consultation is a booked appointment requiring an allocation of the doctor’s time, just the same as an ‘in person’ consultation
